Local emergency relief team dispatched Philippines typhoon
On last 11th (Mon), our foundation were sent the emergency relief team to help victims who are worst damaged of Filipino residents by Typhoon Hai Yan` .
The typhoon destroyed the Taclawban airport and many roads were closed. According to local media source, about 12,000 people were killed and over 4 million people are have been affected.
In the last 12 days, our emergency relief team arrived in Danbantayan town, Sebu Iland, Philippines. Residents on the street were holding a sign asking for help. They are filled with the fear of plague and famine situation.
We`ve got the news by report of relief team that a resident of them told "We have been all collapsed. Now water and food to eat, it is in urgent need of basic necessities,"
Hwang-younghui, Foundation Philippine Branch Manager said that "There are much more damaged Danbantayan redidents looking forward helping hand in this situation. We said that we would soon conduct for a quick investigation and an effective support into the damaged areas with storm including Danbantayan. |
